One of Sweden's most famous politicians, Gudrun Schyman, turned 70 in 2018. Elin from NANNA organized her public birthday party together with Alexandra Hvalgren from Whaleartbranch - Gudruns kalas (meaning 'Gudrun's party') An event where over 300 feminists gathered in Malmö to celebrate Schyman. The event featured some of Sweden's most popular artists and musicians, including Jens Lekman, Loulou Lamotte, Bianca Kronlöf, Crying Daycare Choir and Carolina Wallin Pérez, and we made sure everyone got some vegan birthday cake. 10 local restaurants, florists and cafes helped make the party extra festive.
